How to Reset your Agents passwords?

To reset your agents passwords you need Active Directory Users & Computers installed onto your PC/Laptop

  1. At the bottom left of the screen where it says ‘Type here to search’, enter ‘Active Directory Users & Computers’.
    Alternatively, click on the Windows Start Icon and search for ‘Active Directory Users & Computers’.

  2. If this is not installed, please raise a ticket and we IT will be able to install this for you.

How to Reset Passwords?

  1. Open ‘Active Directory Users & Computers’




Make sure ‘Find’ is ‘User, Contacts and Groups’ (this should be default)
Enter the Name (full or partial)
Click ‘Find Now'



Right click the user and choose ‘Reset Password’




  1. Enter the new password and confirm.

  2. Uncheck the option ‘User must change password at next logon’

  3. Check ‘Unlock the user’s account'

  4. Click Okay




If your agent is working from home, they will need to be connected to the VPN for any password to take effect.

If they cannot login to the PC, the PC will have remembered a previous password, please ask them to try all previous passwords.

If you still have no joy, please raise a ticket and we can remote onto the PC and sort this for you.
